Very nice and quite rare! I've found many Colonial coppers over the years but only 3 Spanish silvers, all small denominations like yours. My area is British Colonial like yours but a bit newer (starting about 1750s). Hang onto it and cherish it!

Very nice! Congrats on a great old coin.

Awesome find!!

That detail is fantastic! Congrats on a great save.
Tell us about the ring on your finger. Looks old.

Congrats! That's an awesome find. I think it's a half real. Pillars and Globes type.

Congrats. That sure is a nice first Spanish silver to have

Killer coin Hvactech19! There is nothing better than old Spanish silver ( except for old Spanish gold). Major congrats!!!!!!

The half reales are 16mm in diameter the 1 reales are 21mm at least for this globes and pillars design of 1732 to 1771. Have been lucky to find two one reales 4 months apart this year. 1752 which is very worn and a sharp 1734 a few weeks ago. Yours is a bit sharper than mine as you have great detail on the globe and pillars and can read the plus ultra on the columns. The globe and pillars seem to be the 1st to ware?

Nice! Still looking for my 1st. Congrats!:occasion14:

Nice Coin!! and in good shape. Congrats

Sweet find, great detail. Congratulations.

Congrats on your first Spanish silver. Looks like a Lima mint mark (LM) although the L looks a little funky. My first was a 1764 Lima one real in beautiful shape.
