My first find ... With my pinpointer :-)

laurenB · Sep 3, 2013

My detector has not arrived yet :-) but, having owned my Garrett Pinpointer Pro for a few days now I just had to try it out. (Go ahead and laugh, I did too ... And so did my friends when I whooped it out lol). I found this wrapped up in a coat pocket. The clothes were being tossed out and I decided to do a quick scan of the pile. I can't tell you how badly I want that detector to arrive!

Nice find. I just ordered a pinpointer today. I guess you can use them in different ways. Great Idea!! :occasion14:

Outstanding lauren - thanks for sharing...

Very nice. You'll love your Propointer, and as you've found it works indoors as well as out. It makes an awesome stud finder if you ever need to locate them in your walls.

The pro pointer makes this obsession soooo much less aggravating.

Did u you know that it is also submersible? Just make sure that the battery compartment lid is on tightly before trying it. Submerse at your own risk. If you don't believe me, check out the videos from antiquarian.

Oops I believe the videos I mentioned are actually from Aqua Chigger

You guys better not be showing up at thrift shops with your Pinpointers hunting for treasure in the clothes/old coat dept!
(Notes possible winter activity)
