After finding many flakes and dust, I knew my luck would change one day. I wanted to hit the Bear river.My wife said let's sluice at the campground but I wanted to crevice. I found the best crack I could from Google Earth and was rewarded handsomely. Lots of gold dust at first and then underneath...

What's the best way to get 4+ feet down this crack? I made a bamboo pole crevice tool and still dont think I am at bottom. Can I auger it out with a wrecking bar any rig a 5 foot vacuum hose. Can't blow it up on public land lol.

Do not know how I missed this one so I will belatedly add my Congratulations to all the others on your find! Nice looking gold and yes there was work involved to get it and it was all worth it. I wish someone had been there to take a picture of the look on your face when you first saw the nuggets in your pan!! I think my smile & shock are still there from my first find! Thanks 63! First I said Omg is that gold! Then I unscrewed the snuffer bottle lid and klunked them in and rattled them around!
 

Awsome!! Dont sell thoes!! Keep the big stuff n sell the small! Awsome looking crack.
