My first half

[No gold in NY]

After six years of detecting I finally found a half dollar. It was at the high school grounds. Also found a handful of clad, and what looks like a bullet.

Nice! I've only found 1 as well on a playground almost a surface find. Hard to find -

Yes, I guess I should add that I dug that half in 1985 I believe and I haven't dug another 40% half, ever. I've got many walkers and two franklins...

I've been lucky enough to dig (26) Kennedy Half's over the last 11 years ( found (8) in one coin spill ) ... but not a single one of them is Silver !
