Pulling trash at a Oklahoma City park. Just an hour hunt. Hit a penny signal. Dug down about 4” and this popped up. Very thrilled. Never held one and now I have one of my own. 48F9C1ED-A680-49E8-8826-B94CC5DC11E3.webphappy Halloween all.

I found my first IHP at a park under a stinkin lincoln spill, the spot had been an old stagecoach road and the IHP was about 6" under the other pennies. Also pulled tons of horseshoes and such from the same park. I look forward to seeing your future finds, keep it up!

Congrats,

They are a thrill to find. One of my favorite coins to find.

The rest will come much easier now.

Enjoy the videos u produce. Looking into the DEUS. Thinking of walking away from NOX. Just not geting the VDI and tone nuances with it. To tight. DEUS seems to have more range in both the VDI and tones.

I thought so too after looking at it for awhile. like a kid in a toy store. the back is sharp, more so than the front.

1000?!?!?! Nice!

There is a set of bleachers there. Small, only 8 row seats. Someone had move it one full length, and under by the bottom skid track is where i pulled this up. I can tell there was alot of railroad activity in this area by looking at google maps. Also found chunks of brick, with some black on it. tells me there may have been homes or businesses in there. time to hit the library soon to check old photos.

I'm heading back there today

Congratulations. Indians are a really nice coin. Most of the time they hold their detail really well..:icon_thumright:

Always love diggin' the IHC's. Cool how you discovered the area it was hiding. Wish ya luck back in there.

Nice!!! Congrats!!!

I found my first Indian head two months ago after 15 years and found #2 a month later. It's a heck of a feeling.

12 years? Nice. Just started doing this Feb of this year, in S FL. Started with Whites TDI Beach Hunter. Great Machine. Ring Beast. Then bought the Equinox. Going out to Oklahoma for awhile, so i needed a land machine. Good machine but still learning it. Sound and VDI still feels to tight. Hope you get one soon. HH!

That's awesome, congratulations! Here's to many many more...

very nice. Looks like it's got a full or near full 'liberty' on the headband. No crusty crud all over it either. They don't come out of the ground much nicer than that. Congrats!

I haven’t cleaned it. But liberty is there. The back of the coin, which I should have posted, is crisp and sharper than front.
