My first jewelry find

Today I found a topaz ring in the field where I hunt with rvbvetter. Antique gold filligree setting. It was inspiring. Now I know that these finds are really out there and I'm ready to hunt for more.

Thank you all for the nice replies. They mean a lot. Topaz is the November birthstone and it is amber colored. There is also blue topaz. I'm not an expert but I'm still calling it topaz. Hard to identify from a photo. It could be amber or citron I suppose, I'm just happy I found it, whatever it is.
