Actually found this 2 days ago right off of my drive way! I wasn't going to post it because it is so worn and thin, but the back does show some detail, and in the sunlight you can make out the date 1842!! ;D

I had been digging Wheaties (1940's-50's) from the same area, so I really thought this was a .50 cent piece! I was so happy when I started to clean it and saw the "one cent" showing!!

Glad you posted her Teak! My first was a no date Matron head but just knowing it was minted between 1816 and 1836 was a real thrill.Congrats on your first LC!! Jerry
