Hello everyone. I've really enjoyed learning the Nox 800 over the last few weeks. But with work picking up and my wife back working weekends its hard to find time to get out.
Well yesterday was only the 8th time out with the machine. I went to a spot in the park where some houses stood from the 30s to 60s. Only because it was 80 degrees, the grass freshly cut and there was some shade. SO glad I went Here!
Very first signal of the day was a silver plated spoon. After a little while the neclace and pendant poped up. It was broken in the plug but happy to have the first solid silver with the Nox.
Not 10 minutes later on the returning pass I got a solid DEEP 31-33 signal. It sounded so good. I remember reading a post the other day and recalled those being Half Dollar numbers. Cut a wide plug then carefully went deeper then saw a big silver edge!
MY FIRST HALF DOLLAR! First silver coin with the new rig. I haven't even found a clad quarter with the thing. Was beginning to think it was broken, glad it isn't

Here are the other goodies of the day. I've been having trouble posting multiple pics so I just did the silver earlier. The spoon says Carlton Silver Plate. Better half of a Jeep (Lawnmower Attack) Colgate Lipstick tube. Flag pin with glass stones. I assume salt and pepper shaker lids. They both sounded just like the Walker so I had to dig them. Found close together.
