My first Merc!

Continuing on with my own yard I found a nice little area with some wheaties and to my amazement my first Merc. I was amazed how clean these come out of the ground for being 70 years old compared to a 2 year old penny.

Great Merc! My first was right next to my back deck in a spot where I had searched a hundred times. Mine was all dented and toasted, yours is B.E.A.-U-tiful as Ace Ventura would say!

Very nice!! I found my first merc this year after 4 years of hunting! Did find my first silver quarter in my front yard a week or so after getting my detector, though. Keep swinging, there are more out there! :icon_thumleft:

Nice Nate, I found my first Merc this afternoon as well.

Check out my post and pics of it. Yes, it is amazing how clean silver stays in the ground compared to clad coins or pennies. Clad dimes and quarters come out of the ground looking like copper colored pennies and zinc pennies come out looking like they've been dipped in acid. I'm sure you're diggin' this hobby as much as I am, lol.
