On our property near Lytton Springs.
Anyone have a clue the time period on this button? Also i did a little searching and it seems that it might have an inscription on the backside. Should i clean it off? or leave it be? Waiting on my phone to charge to put the dig site photo up.

Great Seal button WW1-WW2. Nice find though!

Oh cool! This is my first big find! Hopefully it becomes a small find in comparison to future finds. Thanks for the input ekeisler!

Looks like it could benefit from a clean, check out the cleaning section for tips. The backmark will narrow the timeline.

I am having a hard time getting a good picture of the cleaned button. On the back it reads THE ART METAL WORKS NEWARK NJ and the inner circle line is solid.
