Yesterday I went to a house that had a small front yard that was built in 1910 and did much better than I expected. On the curb strip I flipped out something that first looked like a standing liberty which I me excited until I saw I wasn't a coin. After little research I found it to be a world war 2 victory medal. Then within five feet I found the mercury dime which is in great shape dated 1945. Then about 10 minutes later I had a sweet sound of my 600 NOX at a solid 28 signal which was the ring. I haven't tested yet but pretty sure it's old and silver. Can't wait to get out again and find something old. Still looking for the V nickel and a Indian head penny. But the more I dig the better my chances get. Thanks for looking.

Hope that ring is silver. It's beautiful. Keep diggin' and you'll have the others in no time. I've been overlooking curb strips for many years. It's time to get my head out of my a**.

Can we get a better picture of the ring? It looks like it might be a really nice one.

3 goodies for the day, a good hunt.

3 nice keepers on that hunt. I like that Military Medallion the best.

congrats on your first ring. Love the Victory medal

Nice sweep... relic, silver coin and jewelry! :occasion14:

It's a cast silver ring that depicts a rose with a leaf on either side.

Nice finds. That medal was special to someone once upon a time.
