My first ring :)

My first Ring (Sterling silver) Found with my metal detector I was jumping in my boots when I found it. Would any have any information about this ring. I think this ring was hand man because of the fine detail, I would also like to find out the age of the ring somehow. Minelab x-terra 305 hasn't let me down Thankyou
Found at the regatta ground they have been running since 1838 the hall mark just says STG SIL And it is a small ring

That is a very sweet looking first ring ! and silver no less !!! A pic of the hallmark inside (if there is one ) would be helpful in
guessing the age - can you also tell a bit about where it was located (generally ) and how deep it was ?

I think the look of the "milligrain detail around the edge and the mark STG SIL , makes me think the ring is 50 years old anyway -
just a guess . The modern tendency with the quality mark would be .925 or sterling - the design details evoke 40's /50's for me .

I'd say its Post 1960's. but that's a poorly educated guess, Nice ring !!
