Found eight old coins in the same hole. First time i found allot of old coins like that. 1916, barber quarter, 1934 Washington quarter, four merc's from 1920-1944D and a sterling band with the mount broke off. I felt like a kid on Christmas morning!
Thanks for looking

Forgot, buffalo nickel, three merc's, two quarters, two wheats, were in that one hole, found another wheat and other merc in other holes. I'll be back there first light in morning.

Silver coin spills are awesome and hard to come by.. Good job

Nice! I'll bet you were grinning from ear to ear!

I have found many coin spills, including a 150 coin spill I found in a field where carnivals used to set up. Problem is that none of them predate 1965. :( Congratulations on a great find! I wish you many, many more! And maybe, just maybe...one for myself. :)

I bet you will be digging in your sleep after that one

Thanks for all your kind replies, I'm not going to sleep well tonight, one reason is earlier this week I got poison ivy and the medicine keeps me up. Of course I keep thinking strategy, where and how I'll be looking. HH

Wow, great spill

Bet that made you do the happy dance. nice finds!

Thanks again, I'm up early getting geared up to hit this spot again, Yesterday was my first day there, now low and slow. There is hundreds of acres there, should be very productive, I just touched the tip of the ice burg. I cleaned and cataloged last night. The buffalo nickel I don't think will give up a date, it was melting into one of the Merc's. The Merc's dates were 1920, 1936, 1941, and 1944D. The wheats were (I found one in my truck, there were four I found there yesterday) !935, 1937, 1942, 1940.
Thank you for looking and kind words and Happy Hunting to everyone, I'm so excited, I'm supposed to be deer hunting and I can't put down my AT Pro. Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.

Wow, nice score on the silver. Your ATP will sniff out the goodies that's for sure so good luck finding more of those silver pieces of nectar.
Hope the poison ivy heals up fast for you, that's nasty stuff.
ZDD

Nice finds. these kind of posts keep me dreaming. And the poison ivy, I am with you there. My hands are like raw and itching til I am crazy. I took a warm washcloth and poured sea salt on it and scrubbed really hard. Then
put chiggerX on my hands. Much better today. You can get the chigger X at walmart. Good luck.

I can imagine how exciting that must have been to see all that silver !

Wow nice. Nothing beats old silver.

Thank you again everyone, my poison is getting better, just getting ready to post a new thread for "today's finds"
