I’m more of a beach hunter but it hasn’t produced anything good lately. I decided to give the iron site another shot and managed to pull my first dated standing liberty 1926 S. I have been there two times prior but didn’t find anything worth posting. This time I also found and old Clum car key and a lead dog. I while back I had found another cool car key but I thought it was just a bent piece of scrap so I tossed it :BangHead: This is my first year hunting for silver coins and with this one I’m up to 31. The last picture is my small collection minus today’s. Thanks for looking and good luck on the next swing. HH

Nice finds! You never know what those trash sites hold. Those nails hide the good stuff.

Nice! That Standing Liberty appears to have great detail. My only one is worn nearly smooth.

Congrats on your first Standing Liberty. That one has a great readable date on it. I only have two like that, all the rest are smooth.

Way to go! Wow that SLQ has some tarnish. Hopefully a few more silvers still out there for you this year!

Outstanding. I have yet to find a SLQ, they are elusive.

They are hard to find but that’s what makes them special. Good luck out there

Consider yourself one of the lucky ones since most don’t even have one of those. Hope your next you one has a readable date. HH

There’s no doubt yours is right around the corner waiting for you to rescue it from the ground :occasion14: Good luck on your next hunt.

It sucks that there’s some coins that have that same design problem where the date disappears. The other coin that comes to mind is the buffalo nickel. Even if the coins have some flaws, they still bring a smile to our face when we find them :laughing7: I hope you get to find a few more nice specimens. Good luck
