Just thought I’d share this…
I’ve been in a drought recently, so I thought I’d just take it slow today and just enjoy a day of detecting.
It paid off!
On my second home permission, I met a really kind grandma and I had a blast talking to her. However, I wasn’t finding anything,and the yard looked really landscaped. Then, low and behold….I got a 28-31 signal on my equinox 800.
I popped the plug out and saw a plastic disc—no! That was silver! An eagle was staring at me from the hole.
I’m happy because it’s my 2nd ever standing liberty. Ive Yet to find one with a date intact though.
The grandma thought I was hurt when I cried out in happiness at the find 😅
The rest of the hunt was uneventful except for the fact that I broke my $30 garret shovel
