That gun is a killer find :headbang:

Thanks Blaze...found that gun in my first week of detecting...might have passed it up now, because at the time I hadn't learned how to determine iron from other metals and just dug up whatever made the most noise! proved to be a valuable find as I kept going back to that area and having success.

Post that in Todays finds :icon_thumleft:

Being a new member it would be ok to call it a todays find :laughing7:

Todays finds is the board with the most action :icon_thumleft:

If you detect old logging camps then you should recognize my avatar...It's a stamping hammer that I found at an old PA logging camp...Awesome finds

Smokin' finds.

Question: How does somebody "lose" a gun? It would seem even more far-fetched back in those days when a gun was a basic necessity...?

Those are some really interesting finds........................John in Va
