Hey folks. Hope everyone had a great Christmas!
I went out and tried a new spot on Christmas day. I'm trying to hunt as much as possible till the next snowstorm gets us.
I detected for about an hour right before dark, and found this 1876 Injun. Looks pretty good except for the edges.
Then I returned today (hoping for some more oldies), for about 3-4 hours, and managed to pull 3 wilvers. A pretty nice 1918 Merc, a 43merc, and a 64 Rosie.
Yes, I shined em up some before I took the pics.
I also dug about 20 Wheats, and TONS of small garbage. (Pulltabs, bullets, etc). But I figured the site has potential, so it's worth cleaning up.

Good to see your holiday silver finds TBK !

I just thought about Christmas day and given any day of the year if the ratio of coils swinging peaks on December 25th !
Considering all the detector presents Christmas morn. and the happy new owners going out despite blizzards and arctic temps to try out the new Whites or Fisher or Minelab,etc etc !

How the heck did this just get bumped up from 2007? Haha. I saw the CAPTN SE fire head and had a flashback. Good to see some of the old forum names here.
