In the last three photos not the black piece the other two is that a hafted hatchet ?

That big yellow piece is cool! My dad is here for a visit so it the flea market & Bass Pro in the morning and canoeing/hunting the rest of the evening. As I always say, "tomorrow I will find the piece that will pay off my student loans," lol! It's gonna be the day...

The afternoon sun brings me more artifacts I hope you find 5 cumberlands tomorrow ... If you do I will take one lolol

If I find five, I will give you one ;) all I have to do is show a pic to my 9 yr old and she'll find them. You may have to use your imagination though, lol.

Lol I know how kids work if I find 3 ill give you one ;)

Dude! Don't take my word as the absolute. I think you found a paleo point. I think that is a hell gap. The axe looks like a flaked version of this guilford axe my dad found years ago.

I know exactly how you feel. I joined T-net thinking I had a pretty good grasp on what was what. It didn't take Long for my "knowledge" to become confusion. I finally drew my own conclusion about not only artifacts, but life in general. Human beings, as a whole, don't know $h!t, about nothin! Lol! Take my word and anyone else's as a starting point for launching your own study. You know your area better than most. Your conclusion, based on your own research will probably be pretty accurate. Cool stuff you drag to the table dude!!

I guess lol I find 0 pottery 0 banners unless there are such things as ruff tie on banners but I hunt the paleo who had no pottery and no fancy banners but there are so many time periods in wash out gullies and creeks as far as flint goes when I get it figured out ill let you know haha I got a sick kid keeping me up tonight ;(

Nice finds!
I'm really liking that flaked axe head.
