o.k., now i can tell everybody what the trouble is with swr,af1733,davebien,saturna,and pronghorn. before i do , hear this; i started out metal detecting about 1970 with a metrotech detector. since then i've owned several different one's. i have found many good silver coins and no gold coins. i have found s. coins black as night, some with rust caked on them and some with a shine as if they were dropped the same day i found them. one half dime i found with the 'o' mintmark, made in 1830 was a perfect specimen. nice and shining. now for the children- they all have been educated beyond their intelligence and it's impossible for them to accept simple english. as for pronghorn, maybe he should get a real face for his avatar.

If I had an LRL that I believed was absolutely working,
I would think I would be glad that people on a treasure
forum were discrediting them. That would mean that less people
would buy them and I would have that much more treasure to
aquire without competition. You see Art and all you believers,
we sceptics are actually doing you a favor. Because of us fewer
people will be out there finding all that gold and you get it all
for yourselves.

Not so good I guess if you are a seller of these amazingly
accurate gizmos. But if you have a machine that finds
gold consistently, why are you wasting time selling them
when you could be siding your trailerhouse with gold bricks?

At any rate, I actually did address some of your past statements in that post Art but, as is your MO, I'm guessing you completely avoided the portion having to do with you, and instead focused on what I wrote to someone else. That question has been asked in the past; and remains unanswered.

The mere fact that "they" spend an enormous amount of their time here would lend credence to the supposition "they" would rather argue about it than practice it. Turns out it is a priority issue with them... I guess. Apparently it is very boring going out everyday, into the wilderness and digging up bright and shiny silver dollars after spending only about 10 minutes walking in little circles. I can see where that would not be anywhere near as much fun as sitting on their posterior, creating unintelligible sentences on a forum where the world could be watching and losing every word battle they enter.

Of course those with a vested financial interest maintain their presence here for totally different reasons.

These post make me feel good…A few of you guy’s and a clone discussing how great they are. Trying to bolster their egos and rally the troops..What you need is a whole new game plan. I think I have answered this in the past...I may possibly be wrong. The answer is....I don't care if people think they are a hoax. My problem is with someone trying to "make me see the light", which to me is an indirect way of saying "since we don't believe in this, you shouldn't either".

Of course, a good debate is fun and makes the workday go by faster.

As far as spending great amounts of time on here, that is not true for me. The only time I get on here is when I'm at work and can't get outside.

b) Hypothetically... when you set about to purchase a new car or a new pizza oven; do you carry out any research on the item prior to purchase?

My "attitude" is simply this: Just because it's in a textbook, magazine, newspaper, or the internet doesn't make it so. Sometimes experience overrides something previously learned.

I just prefer to make up my own mind based on my experiences. If I make a bad choice, so what? I learn a lesson, learn a new way of thinking about the subject, and go on with life.

Of course, this doesn't apply to things that will affect others, only things that directly affect me.

You are not taking into consideration MY personal experiences. If I ask ten people about a pizza oven, and they all tell me how great it is, but that model is the one I just trashed because it wasn't performing as I needed, then I'm not going to buy that oven again just because other people like it. My personal experience will over-ride others recommendations.

"Frequency Discrimination" is a fabricated term used by LRL manufactures/salesmen. Such a sad site to see, to whine about "Scientific Pretenders" from one face...then the other face uses these madeup nonexistent terms/phrases

I haven't seen any evidence that this particular Ted Groves, even existed before he started posting on this forum. So where do we find any evidence to support his claims that he actually is who he claims to be, or has any factual knowledge whatsoever of how, or when LRLS actually work.

Irresponsible postings without creditability, or accepting accountability seems to demonstrate Ted's' desire to cover up, and hide his past. So, who is he that he is afraid to come forth and reveal his true identity, for the sake of credibility, and accountability?

I'm curious, what gives you the impression that Ted is hiding anything about himself? And why should the fact that he wasn't posting here before the LRL threads give you pause at all? I've seen several "believers" come and go with just a single post to their names. At least Ted has stuck around to see this through......
