Sure is a tough thing to put an old hat to rest. It's kind'a like coming to terms with a good Ol' pickup with way to many miles and rust eating it away to nothing. Just sad to see some things go and make that move on to something new. I'm sure that new hat will take you along many happy trails ahead of ya.

Nice hat. What non-hat wearing people do not understand is, those of us that do wear hats can't think without our hats on. I can prove it. Before headin off to work or wherever, don't put your hat on. You will say where did I leave my truck keys? You will look and look, but not find em. Put your hat back on, and immediately you will say, aw dang, I left em on the dresser back there in the bedroom.

This 80 year ole lady comes out of a hat store on a windy day. The wind is so strong that she has to hang on to her hat with both hand while her dress is blowing up around her hohos. A man walk by and says lady why are you so worry about your hat when your dress is blowing up around your hohos. The old lady reply is what's down there us been around for 80 years. And I just bought this hat

still love wearin the ole hats. I've had my fishing hat for about 16 years. only wear it fishing. That being said I like to wear a new cap now and again.
