my new hunting buddy and her first penny

Well i suppose that i need to buy her a detector now. She is hooked and always wants to use my machine. I guess all it takes is a penny to get hooked..

That penny is the first of many I'm sure..that's all it took for me about 14 years ago..my nephew had one he borrowed from a friend in his garage..I tried it and found a penny near the sidewalk..my imagination was stirred and the rest is history!

Super! A great find for a great partner!

I took my 5 y.o. detecting at a public pool grounds last fall. It only took a minute for him to yell, "I found something!" I asked him if it was a penny and he said, "No. The metal detector says it is 'one cent'." After that we worked on the whole money/coin thing... He gets it now.
