My oldest find to date---wooo hooo

So I remembered this old farm house way back in the woods from years ago, so I took off and went there today, packed a sandwich, drinks, got my dog and walked back in the woods, found the old house, not much left of it, started searching the yard, when I got up close to the front overhang my MD pegged a good hit....thinking it was another nail I dug slowly....this is what I found 2 inches in the dirt.......I'm heading back ASAP.....the penny seems to be in great shape and I'mmore addicted now to MDing than before

Thanks everyone....I was shocked to find it, I hope there is more, but I'm going to wait until fall to go back, too many skeeters, ticks, snakes and poison ivy.....

truely a special find, so much time has passed makes you wonder what that place looked back then when this coin was new, good job planning that hunt, same kind of thinking i have been doing , want to get to them old houses, surely go back maybe you will fins some more to show, good day
