This is my personal best so far taken out of a hick town park in about 3 1/2 hours. I have not submitted anything yet, because there is so much competion with some very nice finds here.

1 Wheat penny, 2 medallions, 7 quarters, 20 nickels, 31 dimes and 117 pennies = $8.02 + 1 wheat.

Is that a pressed elongated penny? I've noticed a few of those on this board & some of them are fairly collectible. Some of the World's Fair pennies go for $10 to $25 . Most of them will bring a buck but still, that's not bad for a penny!

Cruisin, I don't know if it's a pressed penny or not, however it did read like one.

DFX, I just got the DFX last month and cannot say enough about it. It gets better each time I use it.

I am back to the grind. 13 hour days for the next 5 days. Overtime has been killing us. So I get out as much and when I can. It won't be until next week now, so I have to admire everyone elses for a few days.

Great pile of coins, I have found a flttened penny from the Como Zoo before. Finding it was a treat when you are expecting a penny to pop out of the plug. Congrat's on the nice dig's. HH

Yes thats a pressed penny.My Uncle bought 2 of those penny impression machines years ago.They are sitting in his basement.I should find out what type of impressions they make. Cool finds. HB

Thanks for all of the replies, yes I hit it just right and I am not going to compete DFX Gregg, as he has a personal goal to achieve and needs his full concentration. I give him credit on his goal and hope to hear of his success. I like to coin shoot 1 day and throw a little relic hunt in there from time to time. Some days I have plenty to clean up and others, well I just get clean myself up, but thats hunting.
