My personal best

[John (Ma)]

This is my personal best so far taken out of a hick town park in about 3 1/2 hours. I have not submitted anything yet, because there is so much competion with some very nice finds here.

1 Wheat penny, 2 medallions, 7 quarters, 20 nickels, 31 dimes and 117 pennies = $8.02 + 1 wheat.

That's a real good day for most people, congrats! Your area probably has some old historical places to hunt, hope you find an Oak tree silver. HH, Mike

[DFX-SE Gregg]

Thanks for all of the replies, yes I hit it just right and I am not going to compete DFX Gregg, as he has a personal goal to achieve and needs his full concentration. I give him credit on his goal and hope to hear of his success. I like to coin shoot 1 day and throw a little relic hunt in there from time to time. Some days I have plenty to clean up and others, well I just get clean myself up, but thats hunting.

Good luck to all and happy hunting.

DFX Gregg - I hope you achieve your goal and anyone else out there that have set goals. For now I will stick with a little of this and that.

Thanks I am exhausted got back about an hour ago, last hunt for a few days...lot of coins...pouch was heavy will count post a pic later...thanks for your support and once again great day...oh I have found one of those elongated pennies too from the local zoo in my yard...Ready for the funny part.........When I cleaned it up my son came up real mad (9 years old...can be a mean little guy..) says hey! did you find that in the yard? I say..."yes" he says that is mine now give it back!... This has been one hell of a crazy year detecting for me! His sister confirmed he lost it in the yard last summer!

Very good day you had !! And it's too bad that most forum's posts give people the idea that their meager finds are not worthy of posting compared to all the others. Unfortunately, the competition aspect is always present in many posters.
Good haul, Steve in so az
