I still can't believe it ! I got a strong dime signal and expected to dig a dime but here was this beautiful little 6 petal sleigh bell ! I have researched all over and can't get really good info on the age. The big one was the first bell I found and last night the little one. The amazing thing is that THEY BOTH JINGLE :D
If anyone knows anything about sleigh bells I would love to know more about these. Thank you !

Those are nice finds. To pull them out of the ground in one piece & still have the ball that makes them jingle is an extra bonus.

crotal bells are always a welcome find in the Original 13

Thanks, I can't believe how lucky I was to find two and they were miles apart from each other.

Awesome!!!! That is way cool!!

I may try that. I'll let you know. Thanks again :)

Ok, I posted a video on YouTube but it was my first ever. Not sure how to find it now... Hmm
It's under the name woodswoman61 and titled: Found 6 petal sleigh bells or crotal bells. I hope you can take a listen :)

I can't find it. Have you checked to make sure it uploaded?

Yes I did and its there. Maybe try metal detecting...found 6 petal sleigh bells or crotal bells
Can we post videos on here ?

But why not ? Anything is possible :) think positive !

We don't have snow in Louisiana...maybe once every 10 years or so. So no need for sleighs, by the time they got out of storage & hooked up to the horses, the snow would be melted. But, I think they're the prettiest lil things.

I'm sorry, I have never posted on YouTube before but I can watch it but if I try to find it, I can't either. Make any sense ?

I wonder if there is an option on your Youtube settings to make your video viewable to the public? Its been so long since I signed up for Youtube that. I can't remember what I did. Here's a link that may help you.
