My second time at the old house yard,,,,,, SWEET FINDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

[Carver]

I haven't had a chance to get back to the spot where I found the 8 silver dimes last Sunday...till today,,,Glad I did!!!!!! I only had an hour and a half to hunt... Got a SWEET FIRST!!!!!!!! Found a cool little car,, really old!! A sweet hair,,, lapel,, pin,,, looks and sounded like gold ,, but no marks that I can see,,, it's really heavy Dug 6 wheats,,, two,, 1909,,, 1911,,,16,,49,,51... Then I dug a 1943 Washington quarter with a 1948 nickel laying face to face hit a nice 1901 Barber dime,,, my 5th from this spot Then I got a sweet VDI of 83,,, was hoping for my first SLQ,,,,,,, but what I got was 10 times better!!!!!! My first Seated Quarter 1854 O !!!!! My oldest silver coin to date!!!! It looks like it was made into a braclet or something,, by the marks on the face This place is awesome!!!!!! Still have more yard to do,,,,,, so far I've found 11 silver coins here,,,,,3 Rosies,,,5 Barber Dimes ,,, 1 Merc. ,,,1 Wash. Quarter,, and 1 Seated Quarter...... Man,,, I'm PUMPED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for looking everyone!!!!!! Dan

Fantastic Silver, that Barber and Seated are in super shape. There is nothing so fine as being able to hunt an old house yard for great old finds.

that is one beautiful coin!!! congrats on all the great goodies you found.

Look into errors/variations for that quarter. You might have a very valuable coin there if it is a certain type.

Thanks for the replies folks!!!! I checked the Seated out,,,, it's not the huge O,,,,, I wish it was !!! But I'll still take it

Sweet finds!
I still haven't found any seated coins other than dimes.
I guess quarters were much easier to find when lost.
One of these days I hope.
Congrats on the killer hunt!
I'd be hittin' that yard as much as I could.
