If finding the ring attached to a pull tab will help you out, PM me. I can set you up with hot spots where I never get skunked!

I feel your pain. Not getting out as much due to work.

The solution is simple: Detect in a jewelry store! Guaranteed to find a gold ring in there. :)

Wow I wish I had your problems lol. I haven't hit gold this year. I am doing a little bit with silver rings and coins but haven't found anything gold good in ages. I am super slumped. I am hitting all the spots and digging everything; beaches, private property, ball fields, the parks, the tot lots etc. I've got some fake bling but yea I am losing my mind.

I too have been in a slump for the good stuff. Got a new detector and plan to hit the water a little deeper to improve my finds.

All I found all month are bottle caps, a 9/16 wrench and three 10mm sockets...

I feel your pain but, ya cant expect Great finds all year long, it goes in & out. Hell, we've all been on hot streaks, & cold ones too. Its the nature of our business! I'm still giving it my all with 2 herniated discs in my back. I go out now, not expecting too much so- when I get a good find or 2, I'm on top again. Maybe a little perspective? & Look at the blessings you have uncovered.

Joe.

I've been detecting for almost two years now, not one gold ring yet... lol the struggle must be real for you.

Good luck this month!

Yep. Hurts bad, Liu21..> hurts bad. LOL If it's been 2 years, and you're LOOKING for rings, that's surprising... What are you targeting, primarily?

Me? I'm a ring hunter... I keep finding rings, though... Sooner or later (probably later, after the cold weather hits and gloves and rings start coming off with regularity in the soccer/football parks), I'll run into a patch of the gold ones. :)

The key is to stay out there and keep swinging in the likely places.

For now though, it's down to lunchtime hunts for me... Hunting season is upon me, and I've got two boys that need deer, along with my elk Hunt this Saturday, and a full week the last full week of October with my Dad and brother. Going to be fun for other reasons..> in the meantime... still sad. :)

I hunt primarly high tones, 80+ on my AT pro. But whenever I come across a nice 50-58 signal, i dig it...
