Got out to my aunts house in the blaring heat for 2 hrs and holy sweet hell was it hotttttt!! I just had the itch and had to find some goods, managed 4 wheats, (121 fty) no date buff, 1955 sixpence, 1944p war nickel, 1942 merc, (18 silver fty) harmonica reed, and my favorite find of the day, this matchbox Studebaker. Found out they were produced in mid to late 60s, not super old, but still cool nonetheless, thanks for looking and hh! 20160808_153402.webp20160808_155111-1.webp20160808_155147-1.webp2016-08-08 16.00.32.webp2016-08-08 16.01.39-1.webp2016-08-08 16.04.10-1.webp

That is a very successful hunt. Thanks for sharing your finds!!!!!!!!

Granny had a Studebaker, and I wish i'd have grabbed that when she sold it! Great post!

Congrats on a 3 silver day.
Studebaker made the XKE.
One pretty car.

Great finds, congrats! Your Lark wagon has a sliding sunroof (if still intact) that you can slide back to the rear of the wagon. Happy Hunting, Sub 8-)

Is that a huge button you found there? I see some design on it, Super nice.

thanks tom, this hunt was another one at my aunts house, it's been my go to spot my past 4 hunts, I don't know what I'm gonna do when it dries up, guess it'll be back to door knocking?

At first I thought you found a merc and a buffalo in an old studabaker you had sitting in a garage. Lol

Any chance your Studebaker is missing a hubcap? I found one in a lake last year.

Silver, buffalo, old toys. can't ask for a much better hunt. Congrats on being able to dirt fish in the heat. Not for me!
