Sorry I did not write you before, I was practically for last 10 days working on Northern coast of the island with tresure hunters doing mag and sonar surveys and before that I was extremely busy with historical research so I did not have time to check Treasurenet. I am extremely happy that everything went OK with you. I do not know anybody in Peru just in Ecuador, because my wife is from Ecuador. Anything I could do for you, just ask.
Being a cancer survivor myself - i wish you the best. I have recurring battles every so often that require surgery/chemo/organ removal. But i continue to dive and live my life. Best of luck and you're in my thoughts and prayers.
My doctor is happy with my progress and things are going good.
This past weekend we went on a field trip to the officers club, the Navy Museum and the spanish San Felipe (sp) Fort. Great time. Good food and good friends. Will still be here another 2 weeks. Looking at some figure heads in the antique shops but Spirit Air will not let me check but 1 bag so working out the details. Found a really nice and have them down to $300! Hope to bring one home.
Whooo Hooooo! Coming home Monday night.
This is a 4 day holiday for everyone in Peru so we are going camping in the mountains at a private club which the Yabar's are members. I am only staying a couple of days.
All is good with my health. I get to..oops..have to come back in 6 months for a checkup.
Some photos from this week..

Hi Lynn-
Whoops, I postd a reply to you under the Jonathon Dickenson thread. I wanted you to give Joel a whack on the head for working with Vanover awhile back (like I did) "The rich publisher from Memphis" hahahahah.
He'll tell you the story (from the early 90's) Lesson learned, for both of us. Joel is a pretty good dude, huh?
Kepp up the good attitude, and keep healing, Lynn-
You've got it licked now. Best.
Mike
Lookie what I found! Spirit only allows 1 checked bag so I will be leaving my clothes and unnecessary items down here (will be back in 6 months). already filed the paperwork and can pick up the stamp and certificate for customs on Monday.
If any one has any shipping secretes beside the usual let me know. $200 to ship back is just too much. It only weights about 20 pounds but it's 44"x17"x10".
Due to my muscles being so strong, they did not stretch for the implant as the skin did, the muscles split and the implant surfaced. The right and maybe the left will have to be removed. Will be here another 2 weeks.
Surgery has been moved up to tonight 7:00pm, new "expansion" ones will be inserted but will be enlarged slowly instead of full size. Hope I can have that done at home and by-pass another trip in 2 months and just come back in 6 months for a full check-up.
