My Very First Hunt

Went to the local park today for my very first hunt. It takes some getting used to this new machine and trusting what it's telling me. Here's a pic of all the "treasures" I found

2 dimes
5 pennies
2 neat sinkers
the little silver tag reads "GI JOE"
a copper screw and a connector
and a pocketful of pulltabs and bottle caps!

It was a gorgeous day here in AZ, 67 degrees and sunny and it was a nice way to spend some time with my husband.

Nice treasure Luck! My first hunt today as soon as could get home from buying a used Bounty Hunter off Craig's List for 60 bucks. Probably spent an hour and a half - found 12 Lincolns, 11 pull tabs, 1 Washington, 1 Roosevelt, a really nice piece of copper wire (2.65 a pound last I sold) and lots of the other fun but not that valuable stuff. I'm HOOKED!! My wife said NO! I could not sleep with my new baby tonight.

WTG! It sure is fun, isn't it? That's just wrong about your wife, seger98's minelab sleeps with us every night! LOL just kidding............

You did better than I on your first time out. I got a penny and some pulltabs and some cans. I would have considered myself quite lucky to have found a GI Joe dog tag.
