So...after $25,000 in halves I FINALLY found a 1966 40%er. First silver found in $25K searched to date...also found about 10 2007s and 10 2010s in the box

Wow...I thought my skunk streak of $6000 was tough (it was a single 1966 as well). You have to have a healthy amount of perseverance in this hobby. I breakup the skunky halves with some dime and nickel boxes. It helps to see some kind of silver occaissionnally.

Congrats on the find!

I do a lot of dimes and some nickels as well...got $1000 in quarters the other day after getting 3 FULL rolls of nickels worth keeping including 6 Buffalos out of a $100 batch...in the quarters I found a 1964

wow man those are some rough results, I would move onto something else or change up your strategy, that's a lot of effort for so little return. I guess as long as you enjoy doing it though the return is greater than just a silver coin and maybe you should keep on keepin' on

Lesson in persistence for sure I hate dumps so much that I definitely wouldn't have pressed on.
