I'm sure this has been asked but I'd love to hear from you guys / girls on your oldest coin found using a MD. Please state type as well. My oldest to date is a 1901 Indian Head. Hoping to crack the 1800's soon though.

Mine was an 1876 Indian Head Penny, but what I really like about it was I found it at an Native american pow wow grounds in Oklahoma.

1949 Canadian penny found next to a tree on a vacant lot where a hotel used to stand. Found it my second day detecting and haven't found anything older yet, but I feel pretty confident I will .
