Native American Grind Stone With Possible Art

I found this grindstone while metal detecting in Eastern NC. I also found a few archaic period artifacts nearby. On closer inspection I noticed intersecting lines / channels and notching along some of the channels. I would appreciate any feedback on whether the marks represent run of the mill sharpening / grinding or if this could be more artistic in nature. If I use my imagination, I can see a dragonfly shape on the left part of the first image. Maybe the notching on the channels represents a centipede? Thank you.

Great find. Some of those appear to be plow marks. Others look like areas to sharpen point, other are definitely man made!

looks like both a rind stone and a tool sharpener. I have one looks about the same with fewer lines and deeper grooves. Chris a Indian artifacts friend let mw know what mine was. nice find

The marks like others are saying I'm thinking are plow marks. Looks a lot like the marks I see on a lot of rocks in fields here that get plowed to death. Beyond that I have no idea as I know nothing about native American artifacts.

As others say, marks look more like years of plow marks.
