Does anybody know who the maker is for this piece ? Bought at an Arapaho pow wow in oklahoma.

I don't know for sure but I think that is called a story teller bracelet. Don't know the maker.

There is a similar mark by Morris Begay but that's not it.

I don't own the Encyclopedia of Native American Jewelry... yet. They cost too much or I would. Many of these types of marks can't be found online other than some of the better known makers.

First places I looked, not there. Morris Begay is the closest but it's not her, yes Morris was a female.

yea...i noticed...i am a bit short on time today...i will look at some other citations i have access to...

it is a story bracket...not much on story though... perhaps an anglo piece disguised as native?
can not tell for sure today...not attempting to degrade the object...just not sure at this point...it is a fine piece of metalwork...
