I've got a couple of Navajo pieces here that I can't seem to identify. One is a sandcast piece with turquoise..Too small and not shaped for a bracelet. Can't be a buckle. Could it be for hair? The other is a silver piece with a notch in it. This one hallmarked with a fancy M. Both test sterling. Your thoughts appreciated!

The one with the Turquoise stone is a hair piece to hold a pony tail a stick would have went through it.The other piece looks like part of a belt women would have on their dresses.

I'm marking this solved. Both are hair pieces. I got confirmation of the other one from someone who lived on the reservation. Thanks all.
