Nazi coin at the park

[fongu]

Went back to the park and found this 1941 - 50 pfennig coin with bird on back and Nazi swastika on back and it's made out of zinc.
Found 22 other coins, little car with no wheels, part of old cap gun and usual trash. Took a photo this morning before church and thanked God for the treasure all around us and it has nothing to do with money or detecting. Just getting out is a blessing. HH.

Hey fongu!! Interesting Find and CONGRATS!! There was a German POW camp in the town where I live, but unfornutately it is populated with residential homes today. Would be fun to search the area and see what would turn up!! Anyway, GOOD LUCK and GOOD HUNTING!! VERDE!!

Any day detecting is a good one, some are just a bit more fun and memorable than others !

Nice digs.

I knew it was mighty light in weight and some were made of aluminum and some of zinc, but the little swastika made this a keeper for sentimental reasons. Quite a few of uncles and their cousins served in WW11.
