I'm in the upstate of SC and would certainly be interested in any old maps that you had to share.

Mostly big overviews, Charles. Here's what I found that would include your area. Take note of the last one - the 1925 map. Shoulda sent that to you a long time ago. Forgot I had it. I'll shoot it to ya via email. Any other specific ones you want or even all of them (hope you've got broadband), let me know...

1700 Currituck-Port Royal
1730 by H Moll NC-SC
1733 Mosley (whole state)
1738 Outer Banks (5 sections from Currituck to New River)
1757 NC-SC
1764 Currituck-Port Royal (IMHO mirrors 1700 version)
1775 Mouzon?s NC coast (considered one of the most accurate in its day)
1779 Full NC coast
1782 VA-GA
1795 Full NC coast
1796 VA-GA
1800 Currituck-New River
1850 NC and coast
1851 Beaufort Harbor
1857 Beaufort Harbor
1861 Beaufort Harbor
1864 Cape Lookout-Cape Fear (not down to Ft Fisher)
1864 Wilmington

Yes, the 1757 has the coast included. And the 1850 didn't look especially detailed in your area. They're both too big for this forum, so I'll send them via email to you.

Yes, Zeke, I was referring to you :) My "Send" box shows it went to your email at [email protected] - is that still current? It may be the files are too big for your server to accept. I sent them again, so let me know...

Rob, I'll send you some of Central/Eastern NC asap :)

You have any maps for the San Saba area in Texas from before 1860?

Tim in NC,
Not sure what you are looking for but,if you are MDing, You might want to check out the Pitch Kettle Landing area on the Tar. People have been shad fishing that area for 100+ years. Also (and I can't belive I am telling this) there was a civil war camp in Chocowinity Near where the old train station was. General area of 33 and Choco by pass.
