Im thinking possibly a game piece, the bale seals that I've dug have had initials . Most are double sided or show where it had a wire or attaching piece. Hope this helps!

Found in East Tennessee, place where I located a small camp prior to a smaller battle.

What does it weigh.
The only other thought that comes to mind is a very flattened lead slug.
Not saying it hit an actual button-but now I wonder if that could of actually happened.
