I dug 3 pewter spoons last month in the same area wondering what the date may be on them they seem small to me they are 5 1/2" long and the bowl is 1 1/4" wide they don't have a maker's mark on them I was thinking late 1700s to maybe early 1800s but not sure they have a little design on the handle any help would be appreciated thanks. You are in the right ball park, Can we see the back of the spoon bowls? Those changed through time.

While I was digging at an old house site, I found the handle to a pewter spoon. Research has shown that it is 1800s. Most likely between 1820-1870 would be my estimate.

Please excuse any grammar/spelling errors, I am 13
