🔎 UNIDENTIFIED Need help idemtifying

Anyone know what this is ? A friend purchased it at a antique shop awhile ago she is elderly and doesn’t remember what it is she said it is made of bone and metal any help appreciated

What is, is very nice. It's a pair of inkwells as a desk accessory used when travelling, or on campaign and likely Victorian. It might be ivory, but often they're carved camel bone. Similar to this singleton (note the quill pen holder attached to the central rib):
