Hello everyone,

I found this Little Rock on my property in Texas while I was gardening, anyone have an idea of what it is?

Very interesting, looks like a "fish scale" pattern! :icon_thumleft:

There is a thread "Got a rock you want identified" or something close to that. The guy has I.D.'d a bunch. Cool looking find. Good luck.

It appears to be mica on the rock. If you can flake it off with a knife it more than likely is mica.

It looks like a piece of a Geode with impure Quartz crystal clusters that were eroded in a stream or river.
