Need Help on a glass company I can't find ANY info on.

So, I looked through this forum and found a similar bottle but produced by another glass manufacturer. But I can't seem to find any information on the company labeled on the bottom of my bottle. I have an exact bottle but it's made by the company Duraglass. The company on the bottom of this bottle is Sterlinglass. I can't seem to find ANY information on that glass makers stamp. Can anyone help?

Appears to be a ketchup bottle manufactured at the Sterling Glass Co of Lapel, Indiana. The factory was in operation from 1914-1950.

Did the katchup bottles not all get stamped with heinz 57?

Because that was my first thought too. But everything I've read says they were all stamped the same.

This bottle was found in the woods on the Army Post, we live on, so it's a good possibility it's a katchup bottle.

Only Heinz ketchup bottles would have that embossing, there were many other companies making ketchup at the time...

I'm new to this. I just enjoy finding out what they were used for. And them being found on an army post makes it more interesting to me :)

welcome to the hobby. Sodas and milk bottles from the same time period are more collectible than ketchup bottles so keep hunting and good luck.
