I found out about this site today when i started searching about my silver japanese vase. Story is that my grandmother got it 1992 as a present from very wealthy familly. It is really nice because it has (i think) biblical presentation of Adam and Eve eating forbidden fruit-apple, while the angel is trying to stop them. From my point of view it has several scenes. I think definitely that it isn't machine made because it isn't almost perfect. Also, it's about 1kg - 2kg heavy. Magnet doesn't stick at all to this vase.
On the bottom of the vase it has similar logo that i found on these sites ( 1. http://www.925-1000.com/td/f/Silverplate/Y-Japanese-prob..jpg 2. http://www.925-1000.com/td/f/Silverplate/Y-Japanese-mark.jpg ). My logo is very similar to no.2 (occupied japan) but on mine it says only "Made in Japan". But to me it looks like that text "Made in Japan" is only sticked/stamped on another text (it just doesnt fit to the logo which is very clean. Also I haven't found even nearly similar vase to this that I have.
I was hoping someone on this forum could help me, and I appreciate any kind of help. Thank you all in advance!!!
