Please see Attached pictures of the One Quart Glass Bottles that I found while cleaning our farm.

1. What is the history of the Ball company?

2. Is this circa 1923 (assumed based on the top line of the bottom of the bottle)?

3. Can anyone give me a value, even an estimated one for these?

4. Any input would be gladly appreciated. I am a first-timer here on Treasurenet as well.

Thank you!

Look like whiskey but the pics are way too small to see anything. I cannot seem to enlarge them. Can anyone else enlarge them? The new formatt continues to give me headaches.

I could tell you everything if I could see it LOL. Does it say Federal Law Prohibits Reuse on the side?

Try posting the pics one at a time. We dont really need to see the bottom. Thats the Ball Glass markings. Dont cut off the top.

Yes indeed it says Prohibited To Sell or Reuse on the side. I have done a few hours of research on identifying it but to no avail....

Its a common post prohibition whiskey bottle made between 1932 -1964 Federal Law Prohibits Sale or Reuse of this Bottle There is little market value for this bottle at this time. $1-$5?

What else does it say on the side? Interesting that its made by Ball.

Besides the Prohibited warning it just says "One Quart" on the side. Just thought it may have been unique or had value due to finding no other ones like it manufactured by Ball.

Thank you for all of the help!

At the bottom right corner of my page, I see a '100%' icon and a 'down' arrow to its right.
I can click on the 'down' arrow and enlargement options (to 400X) open.
Do you have that feature?
All theBest,
Don.......
PS: NWS, I still couldn't read the script--other than "Ball" and a couple of numbers.

Its a nice interesting one quart whiskey bottle and welcome to TN but post prohibition bottles do not have much value on the market yet. It would have originally had a label identifying its contents.

I dont see that option on my the TN screen but I remember I had it on windows at one time.

I was able to enlarge the pic with Irfanview but there are not enough pixels. I think the pictures were improperly posted. Way too small for any identification but I was able to guess correctly..
