The ring is silver and a bit perplexing.

The engraving says 11/16/18. I assumed it was just 2018. But.....the lettering in "Promise" looks more old style to me.

Yep, "to infinity and beyond!" 😏

Nowadays it's more like " til death do us part.....or one of us gets bored. Whichever comes first." Actually.....I do not believe in man's conceited view that they are able to put asunder, what GOD has joined together.
IMLLTHO of course!

But, I digress. I was referring to the actual font & style of the way the word "Promise" was engraved. My pictures don't do it justice.

I noticed that these crap coins we get now don't hold up to direct sunlight and soil minerals, well at all!

in my opinion, if the ring is marked '925' then the date would represent 2018, but if it's marked 'sterling' it could possibly be 1918 although it really doesn't look like the typical style of that era.

The design of the ring was very popular in 2010, writing does look older but has a modern look ... like they wanted it to look older. A nice save... and good to see your still on the treasure.
