Did i think my most valuable silver score would be in quarters!!!!!
I got a bunch of quarters that the old lady left. First time I attempted this I got skunked. But the quarters were being held for me by my favorite teller!!! I was able to snag 262 Silver quarters!!!!! 2 of them are Standing Liberties!!!!!!!!!!!!! :headbang: :hello2: made myself a cool $775 today :laughing9: and as an added bonus every other quarter is a bicentennial.

:notworthy: 262 silver quarters :notworthy:

Congrats on your score! :icon_thumright:

Just to play devil's advocate for a minute - if we (as a website community) don't want old zombie threads being resurrected, I think that should be dealt with as a technical issue at the TreasureNet level. Can they be set to "read-only" after 6 or 12 months (from start date, or from last activity?). I can't really fault a new member too much for not knowing the unspoken etiquette & doing something that the system allows them to do. If you see a thread that makes a "comment" form in your head, and there is a comment field on the page, well...

Brings back the good old days!

Bringing back old threads is fine... thats what they are there for; enjoy them. Variety is the spice of life. Keeps you on your toes!

This is the oldest thread I ever saw bumped. I mean, I bumped THE OLDEST post, just for the heck of it, but this man is fo real. He really was being serious.

dawgs, i knew a man who knew a man who once worked in the stone quarry--to put it as nice as I can, he wasn't the sharpest knife in the drawer--splitting rocks beside a bunch of people, dangerous work, common to get hit with rock-stone-chunk fragments, on the head, on a daily basis. "Stonebreakerm" is the person who bumped this thread's user name. He probably worked in a stone quarry at some point in his life.

May have brought it up on search function and did not check the date. I in my genius bumped an old one shortly after joining. Oh yes a member made sure to point its age out!
Maybe its a learning thing.
