I was going through my change and came across a 1960 dime with a marking that looks like US or could be JS? Has anyone ever run into one like this? Was the US added to it?

I don't have a quality camera to take such a picture, however I can tell you that the markings are right under the neck and then there is a "D" marking on the reverse side of the coin

LOLOL. Haha, it's the engravers initials, but there were lots of crazy conspiracy theorists saying it was Stalin's initials.

It's on every dime, 1946 to date. Check 'em!

EDIT: Okay, not every dime. There's a few varieties in which the initials were polished off by accident.
