I just got on a new permission last week.
An old 1800's farm house. That was owned by a very
Respected family in our area. Well first two hunts at this
Permission was pretty much a bust. One silver Rosie 59 I believe and a wheaty. Along with a tootsie toy. After clearing the ground of all the modern clad and trash. I am now hitting deep and finding the period relics. Here are some pics and a short vid. HH all.

BTW anyone know what the shell shape rivet thingy is?

shell thing looks like a post style cufflink to me. Probably wrong though lol. my second guess is a shoestring hook, also probably wrong

Wow I would be excited to hunt there also well done keep at it

I would agree with TPMetal. From the pic you posted it looks like a period style cufflink.

Congratualtions on the nice hunt! :occasion14:

thanks for all the congratulates and info. I am still not positive the shell is a cufflink. I will take some better pics latter today and share them.

Awesome hunt
