new coil scores gold!!

Got a new 12 x 15 SEF coil for my e trac today and thought I'd try it out in a spot I have totally "hunted out" over last two years. small baseball field I found the halfs I posted in the past. New coil goes deeper and I scored 3 wheats, a 1903 V nickel, buffalo nickel, and this 10K ring! short lunchtime hunt.

Nice finds Tav! I just got the e-trac also and love it! How deep would you say your getting with the new coil? I think the issue for me would be the high trash areas I tend to find myself in most of the time.

this coil has been finding stuff at 10+ inches in an area I beat to death with my stock coil. I dont know about high trash areas yet. just got it the other day. Got a Sunray X-12 too I have to try next...
