You might consider browsing Sub-Forums: New York for information (i.e., clubs, hunts, finds, legends, maps, etc.) directly related to your state.

Just getting back into detecting, I got a older Fisher 1220 X pro, want to get a new one and wanted to know, Elliptical concentric or Double "D" ? Looking at the Garrett AT Pro or Fisher F 70, any ideas on the best choice ?

Hi Jim and welcome to tnetDouble-D.jpgConcentric Coils.jpgelliptical is a shape of coil.
You can take the AT-PRO swimming, but the F70 gets better depth.

Thanks for your help. Think I am going with the AT Pro, want to search the many streams and brooks we have near by. Today I practiced near the house, got on an old horse trail ( found a couple horse shoe nails and old brass ends of old shot shells).
